Our organisation
ILTC accompanies you throughout the project, whether for an urgent or certified translation or a more complex document in several languages. We are considerate of all your translation needs and work in a climate of accuracy and reliability. We are equipped with high-performance software, enabling us to create and maintain specialised term bases related to your professional field.
Our administrative organisation allows to you have a sole contact dedicated to your project. The head of the Translation department will manage your project and satisfy all your requirements (selection of a translator, rare languages, urgent deadline, proofreading, corrections...).

Rates
Rates according to each project: between 0.15 and 0.25 € per word (page setting not included), please contact us for details of proofreading rates.
Rates depend on the source language, the urgency of the project, the type of text, the level of technical vocabulary, the size of the document...
For translations, the price is calculated according to the number of words. This is the most precise pricing method and therefore the most widely used for estimating the cost of a translation. Hyphenated words count as a single word (eg: pret-à-porter).
When German is translated into French, there is a certain level of expansion. This is the difference in the number of words between the source language and the target language. For example, the French word "Climatisation" is translated in English by "Air conditioning", so we go from one word in French to two in English, this is what we call "expansion".
Therefore we calculate an average rate specific to each language combination. A translation from German to French accounts for an expansion rate of between 10% and 15%, and French to English for around 20%. This rate is then applied to the translation price estimate
Our quality control system
Your dedicated project manager ensures strict quality controls according to precise specifications and a control system. Two people are always assigned to each project; a translator and a proofreader to ensure the quality of the work. We offer the option of going through corrections with the author (within a maximum of 3 weeks after the delivery of the completed translation).

Our reactive and focused team works closely with the client. Our translators are fully bilingual. They are proficient both in the source language - the original language of the text, and the target language - the language that the text will be translated into.

We have several different profiles of translators according to your requirements :
• "Qualified Translators" having studied translation at university level (generally post-graduate study). Their strength lies in the quality of their style and the accuracy of the translation.
• "Technical translators" who are highly proficient in the language and master a specific field (through their professional experience). Their main strength lies in their knowledge of specialised technical terms.
